The Lancaster Lebanon Youth Lacrosse League (LLYLL) serves as an advisory organization to promote youth lacrosse participation in Lancaster, Lebanon and Berks counties in Pennsylvania. The LLYLL is committed to conducting a 2021 lacrosse season in a safe manner for all players, coaches, parents and officials. As a member league of US Lacrosse, we endorse the safe “Return to Play” initiatives that have been developed and implemented at a national level. Each of our member programs with the assistance of the LLYLL will develop and maintain specific protocols to minimize the risk of transmission of the virus both within teams and between opponents. The LLYLL will continuously review recommendations from local, state and national health organizations for any changes in guidelines for youth sports. The LLYLL reserves the right to amend or cancel the season schedule should worsening of the pandemic develop. Programs in the LLYLL agree to respect and follow the guidelines for Covid-19 mitigation set by their respective opponents in all inter-squad scrimmages, games and tournaments. Head coaches and referees will meet prior to each game to review the mitigation guidelines of each program to assure compliance. The coaches will review the agreed upon mitigation policy with the parents, fans and their team members prior to the beginning of the game during the code of conduct review. Member programs agree that failure to follow these rules by a player, coach or fan after an appropriate warning may result in forfeiture of the game. They also agree to follow guidelines and restrictions of any indoor facility in which they play.
